Who was the YOUNQ MARQUIS?

REAL NAME: MARQUIS STEPHONSE ESCOFIER von ROTHCHILDE de NEMO

Few facts are known about the demented YOUNG MARQUIS, because he allows no prying into his past. No mirrors are ever permitted near his Royal Repugnance, however, cameras seem to bring out his beautiful side. The ancestral roots of the YOUNG MARQUIS run deep in the bleak soils of the mysterious Black Goat Mountains of Hungary. His life In the Old Country remains an unsolvable riddle, but his first recorded appearance on these shores was documented to be somewhere in Burbank, California.

Who was STANLEY?

REAL NAME: STANLEY THROCKMORTON FINCHLEY III

America's favorite pal, STANLEY, encountered the YOUNG MARQUIS during the aristocrat's flight to freedom, moments ahead of a mob of angry peasants. STANLEY is always on hand to advise the YOUNG MARQUIS on proper royal conduct. STANLEY's past is not entirely clear, but the few facts revealed show that he was raised in the slums of Monte Carlo by a band of Gypsy blackjack dealers, and developed an interest in radio while attempting to repair a refrigerator.
